Vaulty

Manual-first personal finance

Budgets, subscriptions, direct debits and debt payoff. Finally in one place.

Every other app tracks one slice of your money. Vaulty puts your whole committed life — every renewal, every bill, every balance owed — next to the budget it comes out of.

Free forever for the basics · Pro is $59/yr · no bank logins, ever

The Vaulty dashboard: balance, budgets, insights and committed spending in one view

The part nobody else does

All three pillars of committed spending

Subscriptions

Netflix, Spotify, that gym you forgot. Renewal dates, price-rise alerts, and auto-detection of ones you never logged.

Direct debits

Rent, energy, council tax — the money that leaves whether you look or not, finally on the same page as your budget.

Debt payoff

Every balance, a real amortized payoff date, and a snowball-vs-avalanche planner that shows what an extra £50/mo buys you.

Budget apps stop at budgets. Subscription trackers stop at subscriptions. Debt tools stop at debt. Your money doesn't work in silos — your app shouldn't either.

Deep when you want it

Simple to start. Serious when you are.

The bills calendar

Every renewal, debit and debt payment on one month grid — paid, due, or overdue at a glance.

See where it went

A cycle-flow chart of your income into every named bill, category and what was left. Your money, receipted.

Insights, not a chatbot

Plain-English cards computed from your own numbers. “Netflix charged £2 more than usual.” Every card cites its source.

Budgets that roll over

Envelope-style rollover, sub-budgets, cycle history, and a pay-day-aligned budget month if the 1st isn’t your day.

Honest multi-currency

Accounts in GBP, EUR and USD side by side — never blended through a made-up exchange rate.

Your data, portable

CSV import from any bank export. CSV + JSON export of everything, any time. No lock-in, by design.

Reports: the cycle flow chart, 12-month trends and category deep-dives

Privacy is the product

No bank logins. No data brokers. No “free” app selling your spending.

Vaulty never asks for your bank credentials — there's simply nothing to leak. Your ledger is yours: export every table as CSV or JSON whenever you like, and delete your account (and everything in it) with one confirmation. The business model is the subscription, not your data.

Pricing

One fair price. No tiers of tiers.

Questions

Fair questions, straight answers

Why no bank connections?

Deliberate. No screen-scraping, no third party holding your bank login, nothing to break. Logging by hand takes seconds with merchant memory and bank-CSV import — and it keeps you honest with your money.

Is my data safe?

Your ledger lives in an EU-hosted Postgres database with row-level security, two-factor authentication, and encrypted transport. You can export or permanently delete everything, any time, no questions.

What does Free include?

A full budget, one account, three subscriptions, debts, goals, the calendar and CSV export — forever. Pro removes the caps and adds direct debits, receipts, reports and custom images.
