These terms govern your use of Vaulty (“we”, “us”, “our”), a personal budgeting web application. By creating an account or using Vaulty, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
1. The service
Vaulty helps you track transactions, budgets, subscriptions, direct debits, debts, accounts, and savings goals. Figures like debt payoff timelines and the monthly cash-flow projection are estimates calculated from the data you enter — they are not financial advice, and we don’t guarantee their accuracy.Vaulty is not a bank, is not FCA-regulated, and does not move, hold, or have access to your actual money — it only stores the records you choose to enter about it.
2. Your account
You must be at least 18 years old to use Vaulty. You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. We offer optional two-factor authentication (authenticator app) — we strongly recommend enabling it, given the sensitivity of financial data. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
3. Plans and billing
Vaulty offers a Free plan and a paid Pro plan with additional entitlements (more linked accounts, subscriptions, direct debits, receipt attachments, and reports). Where paid billing is enabled, pricing, billing frequency, and cancellation terms will be shown to you before you’re charged, and you can cancel at any time from Settings. We’ll give reasonable notice before any price change takes effect for existing subscribers.
EU/UK right of withdrawal. If you’re a consumer in the EU or UK, you have a statutory 14-day right to withdraw from a paid subscription without giving a reason. By starting a Pro subscription you ask us to provide the service immediately; if you withdraw within those 14 days, email support@vault.romsics.com and we’ll refund your payment in full — we don’t pro-rate the first two weeks. After 14 days, cancelling stops future renewals and Pro stays active until the end of the paid period.
4. Acceptable use
Use Vaulty only for its intended purpose of tracking your own personal finances. Don’t attempt to access another user’s data, disrupt the service, reverse-engineer it to bypass entitlement or security controls, or use it for anything unlawful.
5. Your data
You own the financial data you enter into Vaulty. You can export it as CSV from every list page, and you can permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings > Danger zone. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle it while your account is active.
6. Disclaimers and liability
Vaulty is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We work to keep the service reliable and your data accurate, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every calculation will be error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Vaulty, including financial decisions made based on figures shown in the app.
7. Termination
You may stop using Vaulty and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practicable.
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Vaulty evolves. We’ll update the “last updated” date above when we do, and material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
